Inside the possibilities of work with the wood, the wide range that opens us offers fields inside the crafts - the classic carving, turning etc.-, the trades- the carpentry, the plank, etc. -,and the art.

Always it has been difficult to discern between certain artistic expressions and handcrafts because sometimes the creative aspect is the only differential, and enclosed this point can manage to be so debatable as the majority of the theories on the art that nowadays someone defend or denigrate. In my work, I try to show  an approximation to the nature, first with the basic material I ever work and  by means of the topics that attract and nourish me of ideas what has to be the body of what I want to say for this way. I like to speak about the world that we knew and we are losing; of the things - materials, food, forms of communication, etc. - that nevermore will return to be perceived if it is not by means of the work that can last in the time.

I like to try to leave witness of those elements of daily use, nearby to us, who rather prompt that is late will eliminate forever. Aspects of the daily life that already nowadays, for example in the big cities, they are, since not strangers, yes absolutely out of use: stairs of wood, arks, etc.

Fodder that to make remember(remind) aspects of our cultures, of our religions, of our civilizations in sum, is, providing that we manage to retain a moment  the eye and the mind of the observer, very positive for all. I believe that all that that supposes the theoretically simple moment to stop(detain) before an object, to meditate and to try it to understand it, is so important or more than the majority than the situations that it is given us to live in the daily life.
